Even though it was only founded in 1997, our family business can be traced back to 1986 when we made our first lutino lovebird purchase. This pastime quickly got out of hand, and before long, we had more than 300 aviaries where we kept and bred parrots of all shapes and sizes, from budgies to macaws. We moved to Paarl in 1995, and in 1997 we opened our retail location. In order to concentrate on the retail store and our fish import and distribution department, we soon sold all the parrots and aviaries.
