During my time at OUT, I oversaw extensive HIV prevention programmes aimed at sexual minorities and coordinated clinic and counselling services as well as other health and wellbeing services.
I quit OUT in 2012 to work as the Key Populations Program Manager at ICAP.
In this role, I was in charge of overseeing the implementation of health programmes in the Eastern Cape, Free State, Gauteng, Limpopo, KwaZulu-Natal, and Northern Cape.
During this time, I finished my doctoral studies in philosophy (in Psychology).
I accepted a post as a youth advisor and then as a community integration specialist with the United States Agency for International Development in 2015.
