I'm so grateful to Joanne! She was so knowledgeable and attentive that when she overheard how laboured my breathing was on the phone, she immediately advised me to visit my doctor! It turned out that I had fluid on my lungs as a result of birth complications, and I needed to see a doctor right away or things could have gotten much worse. Joanne is an approachable, compassionate, and utterly professional individual. She is someone I think everyone should try. What a wonderful physical therap

I earned a BSc in Physiotherapy from Wits in 2004, served a year in the community at the Pretoria Academic Hospital (now Steve Biko), and then started working in private practise at Northgate Physiotherapy Practice with Erica Wagner. Erica Wagner taught me a lot and greatly influenced the kind of therapist I am today.

I came to Maputo, Mozambique, in March 2007 to start my own private practise there. I am one of the very few licenced physiotherapists in the nation.
In 2016, after our return to South Africa, I established a practise there and began teaching dance and fitness programmes.
2010 saw the awarding of my Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy (MCMT).
As I became aware of the limits in the medical community's ability to manage complicated pain problems and chronic pain, I finished my training to become a TRE Facilitator in 2018.
I have discovered TRE to be a useful technique in treating individuals who suffer from chronic pain and other illnesses brought on by previously unresolved trauma and emotional problems.
I obtained my PNI Coach certification in 2020, followed by my HeartMath Coach certification in 2021.
I adore what I do for a living.
There are no set protocols for treatment because every patient is an individual with unique experiences who should be evaluated and cared for accordingly, in my opinion.
I earned my certification as a PNI Coach (Psychoneuro Immunology) in 2020, my HeartMath coach certification in 2021, and I'm now researching complementary therapies for the treatment of anxiety and sadness.
